Attorney Cecily Robinson-Duffie is a native Miamian. She received a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the University of Florida in 1986 and a Juris Doctorate from Nova University in December 1988. She was among the youngest to graduate in her undergraduate class at UF and was the youngest to graduate with her law school class. While in law school, she excelled in Moot Court and won both intermural and intramural competitions.
Ms. Robinson-Duffie was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1989 and was employed with the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court, Legal Services of Greater Miami, and the State of Florida Attorney General’s Office prior to embarking upon private practice in 1994. Her practice includes real estate litigation and probate and guardianship representation. She is also a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator, a Florida Supreme Court Qualified Arbitrator, and previously served on the Florida Bar's Committee on the Unlicensed Practice of Law.
Among other affiliations, she currently serves as the 22nd National President of The Charmettes, Incorporated, a member of the Board of Directors of the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW), and an Associate Member of the Miami Chapter of Jack and Jill of America. She has been inducted into the Martin Luther King Jr. Board of Sponsors at Morehouse College and recently served as one of the Tri-Chairs of the NCNW 61st National Convention.
Attorney Robinson-Duffie is married and a proud parent to five children.
